A comic opera presented as Thus Do They All, or The School for Lovers. Mozart composed the opera for libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte after unsuccessful Salieri left it unfinished. Mozart saw great potential in it and turned it into one of his masterpieces, based on the effective contradiction of a simple and intimate story with incredible rich and sophisticated musical expression. Not only do the arias and ensembles inseparably count among the best opera hits of all times, but also the well-thought of dramaturgy as a whole. Its contrast, logical and surprising succession makes Così fan tutte a live jewel of opera repertoire. Così fan tutte is celebrated 230 years from its origin in 2019.

Performed in Italian with Czech subtitles
